Om or Aum- The Powerful and Supreme Symbol of the Hindus

The supreme of all mantras for Hindus is OM or AUM, which is a sanctified resonance, weaved out of three sounds a-u-m. It signifies the three Hindu Gods, Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva, representing the three worlds, atmosphere heaven and earth; Om also speaks about the three Vedas, Rig, Yajur and Sama. Aum is unanimously accepted symbol of the Hinduism. This sacred symbol can be spoken and heard and both have a strong impact on an individual’s mind.
The most important caste in Hinduism, Brahmana is the absolute necessity of the religion and invincible, universal, and the foundation of all apparent reality. Brahman, in itself, is unfathomable; thus, an emblem or sign becomes compulsory to help comprehend the indecipherable. The syllable Om signifies both the Nirguna and Saguna facets of the Almighty. For this reason, it is also referred to as the Pranava, which means that it encompasses the life and sprint through our breath or Prana.
